Karl Storz company donates endoscopy device for Haitian clinic

The relations between humedica and the Hospital d´Éspoir in Haiti date from the heavy earthquake in the year 2010, when our interventions teams supported the local physicians in taking care of the many patients. The contact between our organization and the Haitian foundation Fondation pour les Enfants d´Haiti has continued ever since. Once and again humedica assists the organization in providing good medical health care for the people in Haiti, which is one of the poorest countries in the Western hemisphere. Now we received a request for an endoscopy device, an electronic CO2-Endoflator. We are glad to have the Karl Storz company on our side, a partner, which time and again provides us with free medical devices from its portfolio. Thank you very much to the Karl Storz company for its longstanding support.

Aliud provides free medicines for people in need

Just arrived in the humedica storehouse: the medicaments donated by Aliud. Photo: humedica

In order to bring our help to where it is needed, we depend on companies to provide us with goods for free. Like the medicine producing company Aliud Pharma GmbH from Laichlingen, Germany. For many years already it has been supporting humedica as a reliable partner. Only recently they send yet another medicine delivery. Many thanks to Aliud for its longstanding assistance.

Yet again, the sales campaign „Green Bag“ of the Kaufbeuren health food shop Merk benefits humedica projects. For 15 Euro the health food shop customers could buy a bag containing products worth more than 40 Euro. The revenue goes to several charitable organizations in the region. General managers Gabriele and Martin Merk: „We are grateful for the good life we are able to enjoy here in comparison to many other locations in the world. We therefore would like to share some of it with others.“ Many thanks for this generous donation.
