Medical help for women and children in the Niger

An important contact point for people living around Kollo: the humedica hospital

Since 2009 humedica supports its local partner organization Hosanna Institut du Sahel in running the mother-and-child-clinic in Kollo and thus providing the people in this region access to medical care, which otherwise would be quite difficult to reach for most of them. Many people still have to cover long and exhausting distances up to 100 kilometers in order to get medical treatment for their children or themselves.

Yacouba Seydou, head of Hosanna Institut du Sahel in the Niger, has recently visited our humedica headquarters in Kaufbeuren, Germany. In the following interview he reports how troublesome the way to the clinic still is for most of the people, which plights bring them to the humedica hospital and how our joint help in the Niger works.

Only thanks to your support we are able to help the women and children in the Niger. Please stay on our side. Thank you so much!
