How our help for refugees in the Lebanon works

For five years now humedica provides medical care for Syrian refugees in the Eastern part of the Lebanon thus offering them access to support, which most people could not afford otherwise. On average, the humedica teams visit regularly about 30 provisory camps in the Bekaa-Tal near the Syrian border. They do not only treat acute diseases, but also monitor and support both chronically ill people and expectant mothers.

But the help of humedica in the Lebanon reaches even farther: in order to assist also the big number of needy Lebanese people, the practitioners provide help for local institutions such as an orphanage in the town Zahlé.
