Five years ago, Polycarp Onsongo died in a tragic way

by Steffen Richter,  2014/06/12

He had been a father, husband and a talented, very motivated colleague: Polycarp Onsongo, national manager of our, at that time, comprehensive and varied projects in Sudan, died five years ago of his serious injuries he had received in a tragic traffic accident in the capital Khartoum.

On Polycarp’s day of death, we are especially with his wife Agnes as well as his two sons, Leo and Lee, who sorely miss their husband and father. At the same time, we want to thank all friends and sponsors who have answered our request and have supported the family.

Leo is nine years old now and goes to the Golden Elites Primary School in Kisumu. His six year old brother is already a pupil of the same school. Agnes works at a primary school as a teacher. The family lives in a small house in Kisumu.

They miss their husband and father, but they also have the strength to look forward.
