I am packing my things. Today we will leave Peshawar and travel to the region in south of the city of Multan. The cities and villages located at the river Indus are among those areas in the country which have been affected worst by the flood. We are above all concerned for the health of the children.

Our local partner organisation ARO (Aid for Refugees and Orphans) which we had already successfully cooperated with here in the north of the country, and the organisation Kindernothilfe are already in the above mentioned region and confirm that further help is urgently needed.

While our doctor team will continue their work in the city of Charsadda in the north of the country, us coordinators, Simon Gelzenleuchter and I, will set out in order to assess the situation in Central Pakistan and to consider a potential expansion of our relief efforts to the south of the country (region of Multan).
