Briefing on the German Pakistan Aid at the Federal Foreign Office

by SRI,  2010/08/24

Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle had given out invitations and the members of those organisations which receive funds by the German Federal Foreign Office were pleased to follow this invitation to Berlin. Among them also was humedica representative Corinna Blume, who is in charge of coordinating our flood relief in Pakistan.

The objective of the briefing organised by the Federal Foreign Office was primarily to coordinate the relief efforts made by German organisations in Pakistan. Germany is ranking on place 4 regarding global financial support for Pakistan; we are talking about funds which are used to help the about 20 millions of flood victims in the country by means of projects as efficient as possible.

These projects which are made possible thanks to the federal funds are then implemented by different non-governmental organisations – and yet again, humedica is one of them. We would like to thank the German Federal Foreign Office for their trust, the straightforward cooperation and above all their active support.
