Great achievements by means of a short text message

Support us in a fast, simple and save way by means of only one text message – your help will reach its aim. Photo: humedica/Jens Großmann

Dear friends and sponsors, for a few days now humedica has been offering you a service of spendino GmbH, which enables you to support our relief measures in an even simpler and safer way.

In addition to our traditional bank transfer system and the possibility of donating online, you will from now on be able to offer even faster support in the form of a social as well as financial contribution.

In order to do so, you only need to send a text message from your mobile phone containing the key word DOC to the abbreviated dialling 8 11 90. For each text message you will be billed a one-time charge of 5 euros additional to the regular transfer charge and 4.83 euros of this amount will be received directly by humedica and used for our project work.

By means of this help you can contribute to great achievements – with only one text message. Thank you very much!

Another team has been sent to Haiti

humedica has sent more than 100 honorary employees to Haiti since the middle of January. A few days ago, the 10th medical team started out for Port-au-Prince in order to grant effective treatment to the patients at the Hospital of Hope also in future.

Furthermore Mr and Mrs Grünzner from Munich will soon depart for Niger. Stefan, a Master of Engineering, and Juliane Grünzner, a paediatrician, will support the local nursing staff and humedica coordinator Simone Winneg over the next three weeks.

It is the much-cited look back to the future: on Sunday, June 13, 2010 the festivities in the framework of the Bürgerfest Neugablonz will begin and the focus will above all be set on Haiti. Thousand of visitors will not only be reminded of the earthquake, but humedica will also give an interesting prospect of the near future of the country during informative workshops and presentations.

Besides famous guests such as the Haitian Ambassador to Germany, S. E. Jean-Robert Saget (Berlin) or TV judge Alexander Hold (Kempten), the Haitian superstar TiCorn will provide the visitors with an authentic musical entertainment programme. On Saturday, June 12, humedica will already offer an interesting programme and the opportunity of meeting and exchanging news in a casual atmosphere to all those who help organising the event and to accompanying journalists.

Please contact Ruth Bücker for further information about free registration for the event. Further information about the programme and offered events will soon be published here on our homepage.
