Due to the great demand: humedica offers extra training for medical volunteers

Because of the great demand and the fact that so many people working in medical professions are willing to help, humedica has decided to offer an additional training camp (basic and advanced training) alongside the regular training weeks.

More than 850 persons working in medical professions have registered in the humedica volunteers database. Foto: humedica

By doing so, we would like to give volunteers the opportunity to help in Haiti after having been thoroughly prepared. Of course, the completion of the extra training also prepares you for further aid missions in other coutries.

The extra training will be a combination of the contents of the basic and advanced training camp and will take place in just under a week. We will get started on Tuesday, 9th March at 6 pm and expect to be finished on Sunday, 14th March in the early afternoon. Due to the difficult weather conditions expected for March, the entire training programme will take place indoors.

The participation fee is 325 Euros. Should the training result in an aid mission to Haiti of several weeks, 100 Euros will be refunded to the participant. Participation in the training does not imply a guarantee for being sent on a mission.

Since we have to limit the number of participants to 40 for organizational reasons, we recommend you to register for the training as soon as possible.

We are looking forward to your arrival and to having a good week together. In case you will not be able to participate in the extra training, you are of course cordially invited to register for the regular training courses.
