Ongoing voluntary commitment

At present, several health professionals are working in humedica project countries on a voluntary basis, in order to help people in need.

On of them is Dr. Matthias Heß from Karlsruhe, who has already gained a lot of experience in this kind of work. For the second time this year, he travelled to Niger some days ago in order to work at the humedica clinic in Kollo. For three whole weeks, the general practitioner is going to support the clinic staff under the African sun.

On the occasion of the humedica’s 30th anniversary, the (Bavarian) TV channel BR2 had made a reportage about our work for the programme “Nahaufnahme”. In the programme, Dr. Matthias Heß told a lot about what motivates him to work for humedica.

From the 5th to the 18th of September, the nurse Sabine Löffler from Wilkau-Haslau and Dr. Anton Freilinger from Au-Hallertau went on an aid mission to Kosovo.

For as many as six months, the midwife Mareen Posselt from Dresden will fly to India to work in the Duncan-hospital.

We wish all our volunteers and teams a good time, God’s protection and blessings. Thank you very much for your commitment.
