Charity seal from the German Evangelical Alliance renewed for another year

by Pressemeldung Deutsche Evangelische Allianz,  2009/07/01

humedica e. V. has been reawarded the charity seal of approval by the German Evangelical Alliance. The certificate, which is awarded by an independent rating committee, attests that a charity organization has observed certain “principles for the proper use of donations”.

These principles have been developed by the German Evangelical Alliance, the Working Committee of Evangelical Missions and the Union of Missionary Youth Movements. They certify that donations are used economically, that they are used only for those purposes that the donor has intended them for and that only an appropriate percentage of the donations is used to cover administrative costs.

humedica’s commitment is only made possible due to the support of private donors, public and private institutions as well as the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany. One important aim of humedica is that we pass on the support we receive, to the greatest extent possible, to people in need and that we keep our administration costs below 10%.
